1. Parties & Scope

Alpha Community Care is committed to ensuring every participant is treated with respect, safety, privacy, and dignity. We operate strictly under the:
NDIS Practice Standards
NDIS Code of Conduct
Australian Privacy Principles (APPs)
Your rights are central to how we plan, deliver, and review every support service we provide.

2. Services Provided

We provide supports that are safe, respectful, person-centred, and aligned with your goals and preferences. You agree to provide accurate information to ensure the safe delivery of support.

3. Fees, Pricing & Payments

  • NDIS Pricing: All supports are billed under the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
  • Payment Terms: Invoices are payable upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Cancellations: Cancellation fees follow standard NDIS rules and regulations.

4. Participant Responsibilities

To maintain a high standard of service, participants agree to:
  • Treat all staff respectfully.
  • Provide accurate information related to their needs.
  • Maintain a safe environment for staff, providing support.
  • Give reasonable notice for any service cancellations.

5. Service Changes & Termination

We may suspend or end services due to safety concerns, repeated breaches, funding issues, or changes in your circumstances.
  • SIL/SDA Notice: Accommodation services (SIL/SDA) require 14 days notice for termination unless an immediate risk exists.

6. Privacy & Confidentiality

We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles. Your personal information is managed securely and confidentially.

7. Quality & Safeguarding

Alpha Community Care complies with all NDIS Practice Standards. In line with national requirements, all serious incidents must be and will be reported to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

8. Insurance

  • Insurance: We maintain comprehensive Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Workers Compensation insurance.
  • Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for losses outside our reasonable control.

9. Conflict of Interest

  • Conflict of Interest: We manage conflicts transparently, ensuring participants maintain full Choice and Control.
  • Australian Consumer Law: These Terms comply with Australian Consumer Law. Any unenforceable clause is considered severable.
  • Amendments: We may amend these Terms; the latest version will always be available on our website.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for losses outside our reasonable control.

11. Australian Consumer Law

These Terms comply with Australian Consumer Law. Any unenforceable clause is severable.

12. Amendments

We may amend these Terms. The updated version will always be available on our website.
