Supported Independent Living (SIL) in Sydney

SIL in Sydney is often about finding the right home and team while managing hospital timing or a plan change. Referrals from Greater Sydney and across NSW come through our national intake team, with local hubs in Docklands (Melbourne) and West Perth.

Western Sydney referrals (for example Parramatta, Blacktown, Liverpool or Penrith) can need different housing and transport assumptions than the north shore or inner city. Include the suburb or LGA in your first message.

What happens after you refer

1. Intake reviews the referral and gets in touch.
2. We clarify goals, overnight needs, preferred suburbs in Sydney, and any health supports.
3. We confirm whether a SIL arrangement can be made near you — and when — before anything starts.
4. Only then do we discuss agreements, introductions and a proposed start.
